Data Chambers – Data Center Expansion
Project consisted of new white space to complement existing white space and master planning for future white space.
- Ceiling return air plenum used to separate supply and return air
- Overhead bus way utilized for rack power distribution
The project consisted of 15,000 SF of new white space to complement 15,000 SF of existing white space as well as provide master planning for an additional 45,000 SF of future white space. The design incorporated a new medium voltage utility delivery, A and B generator plants and associated paralleling gear, A and B UPS systems, A and B power distribution systems on the electrical side and an N+1 chiller plant with 50 ton CRAH units on the mechanical side. A ceiling return air plenum was utilized to facilitate separation of supply and return air. The space is divided into roughly 5,000 SF PODS. Overhead bus way (Starline) was utilized for rack power distribution.
