Low Voltage Electrical Designer
Charlotte, NC

We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time salaried position as a Low Voltage Electrical Designer.
Requirements: Candidates must have a comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs & BIM/Revit proficiency; an overall understanding of MEP systems, with a thorough knowledge of Low Voltage systems; previous experience in commercial building design; a degree from an accredited Engineering program is preferred; Desire to pursue RCDD. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities: Producing construction plans, specifications, and other technical drawings in an efficient and timely manner. Construction plans and specifications include security/surveillance, access control, television, audio/visual, PA, telecommunications infrastructure, etc.) and must meet appropriate design standards, project & client requirements, and all applicable codes (NEC, IBC, BICSI standards, etc.). Candidates must be detail oriented with good time management skills to meet time-induced deadlines as well as be able to resolve engineering anomalies.
